I sent a submission to a well-known Agency here in town. I worked hard to put a nice presentation together; included a postcard from the show, had a great cover letter, resume, photos, etc. Even a self-addressed stamped envelope just in case I was going to be sent a rejection. The envelope came back today, with the standard photo-copied rejection letter:
"Thank you for your recent submission to ________ Agency. Unfortunately, we are not longer providing representation to children. We wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors."
Really? Did you really take a look at my submission? Or did you just rip it open, find the envelope, and stuff the wrong rejection letter into the SASE and drop it in the mail?
Well, who knows? It's not worth wasting my emotions over. On to the next one.
